Question: Modi ji, how has your experience of the idea of Rurbanization been? Do you see it has made Governance stronger at the local level?

  • This has been experiment we have worked towards. If we do not worry on our villages our cities wont improve.
  • My idea is to create a rural-urban connect where the soul is of the rural bent but with an urban touch.
  • In Gujarat all 18,000 villages are broadband connected where we use e-governance technologies.

PM Modi congratulates Sanae Takaichi on her landmark victory in Japan’s House of Representatives elections

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi has congratulated H.E. Sanae Takaichi on her landmark victory in the elections to the House of Representatives of Japan.

The Prime Minister said that the Special Strategic and Global Partnership between India and Japan plays a vital role in enhancing global peace, stability and prosperity.

The Prime Minister expressed confidence that under H.E. Takaichi’s able leadership, the India-Japan friendship will continue to reach greater heights.
