Prime Minister Narendra Modi today addressed a public meeting at Valsad, Gujarat. PM Modi started his address by expressing delight over Gujarat's youth and women, for turning out in huge number. He said that with their blessings, the BJP will emerge victorious in the upcoming elections.

PM Modi, despite indications of a strong win in the elections, iterated his duties towards the people and the land of Gujarat and said, “It is my democratic responsibility, my duty to ask for your vote, to seek your blessings”. PM Modi further added that the development present in Gujarat today is because of the vote of the people.

Hitting out at the opposition, PM Modi compared the prices of 1 GB of data, PM Modi said, “When the Congress government was sitting in Delhi, the cost of 1GB of data used to be around Rs.300. Today, during the BJP government, the cost of 1 GB data has come down to only Rs 10”. Giving an example of how policies of the BJP government are saving the money of the people, PM Modi iterated an example and said that given the rate of data usage, an average of four to five thousand rupees would have been spent; had the Congress regime would be in power.

PM Modi finally addressed the people on the policies the BJP government has been undertaking to support women and the child at every stage of their lives. PM Modi said, “We have tried tremendously to empower the girl child from birth till her education, career, every aspect of her life”. PM Modi further warned people to be aware of the opposition's ill intent for the treasury and the prosperity of Gujarat.

The Prime Minister has expressed immense joy on the commencement of the 20th Session of the Committee on Intangible Cultural Heritage of UNESCO in India. He said that the forum has brought together delegates from over 150 nations with a shared vision to protect and popularise living traditions across the world.

The Prime Minister stated that India is glad to host this important gathering, especially at the historic Red Fort. He added that the occasion reflects India’s commitment to harnessing the power of culture to connect societies and generations.
