PM speaks to Rishi Sunak on assuming charge as UK PM

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi has spoken to Rishi Sunak and Congratulated him on assuming charge as UK Prime Minister.

In a tweet, the Prime Minister said;

"Glad to speak to @RishiSunak today. Congratulated him on assuming charge as UK PM. We will work together to further strengthen our Comprehensive Strategic Partnership. We also agreed on the importance of early conclusion of a comprehensive and balanced FTA."

Prime Minister shares Sanskrit Subhashitam highlighting significance of mutual dependence

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi shared a Sanskrit Subhashitam-

“प्रभया हि विना यद्वद् भानुरेष न विद्यते।

प्रभा च भानुना तेन सुतरां तदुपाश्रया॥”

The Subhashitam conveys that just as the Sun cannot be perceived without its light, so too light cannot exist without the Sun. Thus, the entire existence and power of the Sun and its light are entirely dependent upon each other.

The Prime Minister wrote on X;
