PM bows to Mahatma Gandhi on his Jayanti

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi has bowed to Mahatma Gandhi on his Jayanti.

"We bow to beloved Bapu on Gandhi Jayanti. 

There is much to learn from his life and noble thoughts.

May Bapu’s ideals keep guiding us in creating a prosperous and compassionate India", the Prime Minister said.

Prime Minister shares Sanskrit Subhashitam highlighting humility and selfless courage of warriors

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, shared a Sanskrit Subhashitam-

“न मर्षयन्ति चात्मानं
सम्भावयितुमात्मना।

अदर्शयित्वा शूरास्तु
कर्म कुर्वन्ति दुष्करम्।”

The Sanskrit Subhashitam reflects that true warriors do not find it appropriate to praise themselves, and without any display through words, continue to accomplish difficult and challenging deeds.

The Prime Minister wrote on X;

“न मर्षयन्ति चात्मानं
सम्भावयितुमात्मना।

अदर्शयित्वा शूरास्तु
कर्म कुर्वन्ति दुष्करम्।।”
