You have given me a chance and you have seen that I have been serving you without taking any leave: PM Modi in Mahasamund

Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed two mega rallies today in Janjgir-Champa and Mahasamund, Chhattisgarh. Beginning his speech, PM Modi said, "I have come to seek your abundant blessings. Our country has made significant progress in the last 10 years, but there is still much work to be done. The previous government in Chhattisgarh did not allow my work to progress here, but now that Vishnu Deo Sai is here, I must complete that work as well.”

Taking blessings from revered Acharya Mehttar Ram Ji Ramnami and Mata Set Bai Ramnami, PM Modi said, “It is said that the ancestors of the Ramnami community predicted over a century ago when the consecration of the Ram Temple would take place. The work that the BJP has done fulfils the hope of the temple in Ayodhya, which the country had left behind.”

Hitting out at the Congress for its appeasement politics, PM Modi stated, “Appeasement is in the DNA of the Congress. If for appeasement, Congress has to snatch the rights of Dalits, backward classes, and indigenous people, it won't hesitate for a second. Whereas, the BJP is a party that follows the mantra of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas’. Our priority is the welfare of the poor, youth, women, and farmers. For 60 years, the Congress chanted the slogan of ‘Garibi Hatao’ in the country and kept filling the coffers of its leaders. But we have lifted 25 crore people out of poverty in the last 10 years.”

PM Modi also spoke about the farmers’ welfare in detail, he said, “The BJP government is committed to enhancing the participation of our mothers and sisters in agriculture manifold. Modern technologies like drones reduce the cost of farming. And when the drone revolution arrives, it will be led by our sisters. Under the "NaMo Drone Didi Yojana," sisters are first being trained as drone pilots, and then the government is providing drones. There is much discussion nationwide about Chhattisgarh's Mahtari Vandana Yojana. Here, millions of sisters are receiving direct assistance every month.”

PM Modi went on to say, “Before 2014, for nearly 60 years, only one family of the Congress directly or indirectly ran the government. The Congress never wants to increase the participation of Dalits, backward classes, and tribal people. In 2014, you entrusted Modi, who came from among you, with such a big responsibility. The BJP made a son of a Dalit family the President of the country. The Congress opposed it. The BJP decided to give the country its first tribal woman President. But the Congress vehemently opposed it.”

Slamming the Congress for their divisive politics, PM Modi said, "The Congress has now started another big game. First, a Congress MP from Karnataka said that they would declare South India a separate country. Now, the Congress candidate from Goa is saying that the Indian Constitution does not apply to Goa. They are clearly stating that the Indian Constitution was imposed on Goa, and they have conveyed these things to the Congress Shehzaada. Today, they are rejecting the Constitution in Goa, tomorrow they will do the same in the entire country."

Highlighting the work done for the backward community, PM Modi stated, “We are providing financial assistance to artisans and craftsmen under Vishwakarma Yojana. For the most marginalized tribes of Chhattisgarh, we have also created the PM Janman Yojana. Earlier, Congress people used to abuse the entire Modi community, the Sahu community; now they talk about breaking Modi's head. The BJP has given constitutional status to the OBC Commission... provided reservation in medical education. So that the children of the poor can also become doctors and engineers, I have started the study of medicine and engineering in the local language. But here, a Congress leader says Modi should die.”

Speaking in the second rally in Chhattisgarh’s Mahasamund, PM Modi said, “Voting for Bastar seat was held in our Chhattisgarh on 19th April. Voting was also held in other states of the country and the first phase of voting has made things clear. The mind of the country speaks to make a powerful developed India and a strong government has to be formed, hence the public has trust only on BJP..."

Talking about the ongoing tussle between members of the INDI Alliance, PM Modi asserted, "There is a fight going on within the INDI Alliance. Two days ago, there was a rally of INDI Alliance in Jharkhand, where heads were broken and clothes were torn in public. When INDI Alliance had their first rally, there were so many people holding each other's hands on the stage. And now in their last rally, it could be seen that almost half of the people have left them. In Delhi, where the royal family of Congress lives, the vote of the royal family will not go to Congress and they ask you to vote for them. Because where the royal family lives, there is no Congress candidate."

PM Modi lashed out against the callousness of the opposition towards the country's security and remarked, "Wherever Congress ruled, development derailed. Congress and development don't go hand in hand. Instead, violence and corruption peaked. In the North East, Congress couldn't stop the violence. In Chhattisgarh, Naxalism flourished under Congress. Why? Corruption. To hide its corruption, Congress fueled violence. While people suffered, Congress filled its coffers. Under the BJP, corruption and Naxalism are under control. Naxalism is rapidly decreasing in Chhattisgarh. I guarantee to eliminate Naxalism in Chhattisgarh."

“I am tirelessly working day and night to fulfil your dreams, but Congress turns a blind eye to real issues. What does Congress focus on? Threatening violence against Modi. Disrespecting my late mother. Proudly demeaning the Modi and Sahu communities. No parent wishes for their children to remain in poverty. Yet, under Congress's rule, poverty persisted. Decades of Congress governance left a large population backwards, deprived, and exploited. Congress denied constitutional status to the OBC Commission and neglected OBC reservation in medical exams," the PM added in a sorry state of affairs.

Prime Minister Modi urged voters to exercise their franchise in record numbers in the upcoming Lok Sabha polls. He said, “Your vote for the BJP-NDA will build a developed India. Therefore, you must make the lotus bloom at every booth. Will you make the lotus bloom? You have to go door-to-door and say, Modi ji has said Jai Johar, has greeted with Ram-Ram."
