Addressing the Global Citizens Festival, PM Narendra Modi said youth brings energy and idealism that is unparalled. PM Modi spoke about how the Government at Centre has been undertaking several initiatives for welfare of people.

Shri Modi said that poverty is one of the biggest challenges for any developing country. He also said that malnutrition, unemployment, corruption & filth too posed challenges for the country. He called for people to work together towards a Swachh Bharat. “I am convinced we can and we will build a Swachh Bharat free of all forms of filth within one generation”, he added.

PM discusses West Asia Situation and Emphasizes Need for De-escalation

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi held a conversation with President Emmanuel Macron of France to discuss the situation in West Asia and urgent need for de-escalation and return to dialogue and diplomacy. Shri Modi and President Macron looked forward to continuing their close coordination to advance peace and stability in the region and beyond.
