Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi addressed a public meeting in Bidar after inaugurating Bidar-Kalburgi railway line, and flagged off train service between the two regions.

While dedicating the Bidar-Kalaburgi New Railway Line to the nation, PM Modi said this will immensely benefit people to commute.

PM Modi talked about how the previous government was suffering from policy paralysis, he said that development projects stalled since the Congress rule are being completed now. Congress only believed in 'Atkana', Latkana' & 'Bhatkana'.

Addressing the huge gathering at Bidar, Prime Minster said that initiatives of government must benefit the common citizens, it must reach the last mile. Now, through Direct Benefit Transfer scheme, beneficiaries have been benefited and middle-men have been eliminated. Rs 57,000 Crore from Government revenue which earlier went to the middlemen is now going directly to the rightful owner, added PM Modi furthermore.

“Infrastructure plays a vital role in taking the Nation to greater heights. India needs the best railways, roadways, airways & waterways,” said the PM.

Also, PM Modi discussed on benefits of demonetization and GST, and said Implementation of GST was a collective decision of all parties and we are open to incorporate changes to make the system better.
