இந்திய யோகதா சத்சங் சங்கத்தின் நூற்றாண்டு விழா நிறைவை முன்னிட்டு பிரதமர் திரு நரேந்திர மோடி நினைவு அஞ்சல் தலைகளை வெளியிட்டார். புதுதில்லி விக்யான் பவனில் நடைபெற்ற நிகழ்ச்சியில் பங்கேற்று பேசிய பிரதமர், சுவாமி பரமஹம்ச யோகாநந்தாவைப் பாராட்டி, அவர் வழிகாட்டிய பாதை முக்தி அடைவதற்காக அல்ல தன்னுள் தேடுவதற்கு என்று கூறினார்.
சுவாமி பரமஹம்ச யோகாநந்தா தனது கருத்துகளைத் பகிர்ந்து கொள்வதற்காக இந்தியாவை விட்டு சென்றிருந்தாலும் அவர் எப்போதுமே இந்தியாவுடன் இணைந்திருந்தார் என்றும் பிரதமர் கூறினார்.
இந்தியாவின் ஆன்மிகத் தன்மையே அதன் வலுவாகும். ஆனால் சிலர் ஆன்மிகத்தில் மதத்துடன் இணைக்கின்றனர். ஆன்மிகமும் மதமும் வெவ்வேறு விஷயங்கள் ஆகும் என்று பிரதமர் கூறினார்.
