The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, today inaugurated Phase-II of the Rashtrapati Bhawan Museum, in the presence of President Pranab Mukherjee, Vice President Hamid Ansari and other dignitaries.

Speaking on the occasion, the Prime Minister described the publications being released on the occasion as “Granths” (texts) which will leave a mark on history.

He said the museum inaugurated today is a great attempt to bring the past back to life.

He said the contribution of President Mukherjee to India is immense, and he has given a lot to the office of the President also. He added that we can learn from President Mukherjee how people from diverse political backgrounds can work together.

The Prime Minister noted that be it renewable energy, water conservation, or Digital India, all these initiatives have been implemented at Rashtrapati Bhavan.

Prime Minister congratulates Rastriya Swatantra Party leaders on electoral success in Nepal

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, had warm telephone conversations with Mr. Rabi Lamichhane, Chairman of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), and Mr. Balendra Shah, Senior Leader of the RSP.

Shri Modi congratulated both leaders on their electoral victories and the RSP’s resounding success in the Nepal elections. He conveyed his best wishes for the forthcoming new Government and reaffirmed India’s commitment to work with them for mutual prosperity, progress and well-being of the people of both countries.

Expressing confidence in the future of India-Nepal relations, the Prime Minister said that with joint endeavours, the partnership between the two nations will scale new heights in the years ahead.

In a X post, the Prime Minister said;
