Prime Minister Narendra Modi today interacted with BJP Karyakartas from five Lok Sabha seats, from Kakinada, Machilipatnam, Narsapur, Visakhapatnam & Vizianagaram.
Interacting with BJP Karyakartas through video conference, PM Modi urged them to strengthen the party at the booth level, and asked them to deepen connect with the people of their booth. Emphasising on Youth of the country, PM Modi said, “Democracy is a festival. It is a festival of creating our own future and the youth are at the very centre of creating India's future.”
In his video interaction with party workers from Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh, Prime Minister Modi described several achievements that India has achieved for the first time during his government. The PM urged Karykartas to reach out youth of their region, he said, “The youth cares for development, ask them who is committed to development in India. The youth wants good infrastructure, ask them who is building good infrastructure in India. Youth likes technology, ask them who is building a Digital India. Youth hates corruption, ask them who is working hard to make India corruption free. It is only the BJP which understands the aspirations of youth and is working hard to build an India of their dreams.”
Stating that there were many dimensions to the concept of security and that the BJP-led ND Government had worked on all of them, PM Modi responded to a Karyakarta from Machilipatnam, "Even the poorest deserve the benefits of Insurance, which has been made possible at feasible rates of less than Re 1."
Further responding to a question from Narsapuram on India’s unprecedented growth and foreign policy, PM Modi said, “It is India, not me, that has emerged as a global leader. It is due to you all, the 130 crore people of India.” He said that the country’s foreign policy was based on a simple mantra of 'India First’. Talking on combating terrorism, the PM said, “We in India want peace, but we also know how to deal with terrorists in a language they understand. The surgical strikes are an example of that.” PM Modi also praised Indian diaspora for their contribution in India’s growth engine.
Speaking at length on lies being spread by the state government of Andhra Pradesh, PM Modi said. “Truth, truth and only truth can defeat the tsunami of lies spread by the state government. Central Government has released Rs 20,000 crore as resource gap and revenue deficit funding to Andhra Government, if they haven’t received it then the money has gone to who’s pocket. Our Government is fully committed towards welfare of people of Andhra Pradesh.”
Concluding his interaction at Vizianagaram, Prime Minister Modi described what made the BJP ‘a party with difference. He lashed out at the state government of Andhra Pradesh for spreading lies. The PM said, “People know the reality of those in power in Andhra Pradesh. They speak only lies, they are interested only in blaming and indulge only in scams.”
PM Modi assured the BJP Karyakartas that people of the state are deeply angry with current political leadership and Andhra is looking for the change. He said the people have not forgotten how Congress has separated the state but the BJP has always stood with the state.
PM Modi urged the Karyakartas to keep working hard and ensure that the people’s voices are heard.
Win the booth and the victory is ours.
