Modi opposes move to include his life story in school syllabus

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday opposed the move by BJP-ruled states of Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh to include his life story in education curriculum, saying living individuals should not be part of the school syllabus.

“I firmly believe that the life story of living individuals should not be included as a part of the school curriculum,” he tweeted.

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi shared a Sanskrit Subhashitam today, highlighting the power of determination, perseverance, and courage in overcoming life's challenges and turning adverse circumstances into favorable ones.

The Prime Minister wrote on X;

"दैवं पुरुषकारेण यः समर्थः प्रबाधितुम्।

न दैवेन विपन्नार्थः पुरुषः सोऽवसीदति॥"

A person who possesses the determination, perseverance and courage to turn adverse circumstances into favorable ones is never defeated by the challenges of life. Instead, through continuous effort and unwavering resolve, he moves forward and ultimately achieves success.
