International Kite Festival: Celebrations here take a flight!

A perfect blend of traditional celebrations and modern facets is visible at the ongoing International Kite Festival.

The 3-day festival, which began on 12th January at Sabarmati Riverfront in Ahmedabad, has witnessed thousands of visitors walking in and spending long hours at the fest - amazed at and enthused by the revelry surrounding Uttarayan.

On one hand, where kite enthusiasts from across the globe are demonstrating an unseen fervor for the occasion, on the other, cultural exhibits at the Crafts exhibition and performances by dancers from various states, have superbly put forth the inimitable diversity and unsurpassable unison of India.
