Innovative Initiative of the CM: Chitin Shibir to be held at Tent-City

Under the leadership of the Chief Minister Shri Narendrabhai Modi the sixth annual Chintan-Shibir begins at Kutch. As an innovative initiative by the C.M, the venue of Chintan-Shibir remains the Tent-City .The tent-city remained the site of Kutch carnival also.

The contemplation session would begin with the inaugural address by the Chief Minister on Friday. Policy makers-Ministers, secretaries, IAS officials, all the District Collectors and District Development Officers, seven Municipal Commissioners would take part in brain storming group discussions.

On the second day of the Chintan-Shibir- on 5th December, Former President Dr.A.P.J Abdul Kalam would inspire the delegates. Before that, delegates would discuss about 50 ‘Swarnim-Sankalpa’. After the lunch-break on the first day- Contemplation exercise would first take up Innovative changes in Government Department, Administrative reforms and Special Focus on E-Governance. Secretaries and District Officials are going to make presentations .It would also include the outstanding activities done by them. Chief Secretary, D.Rajgopalan would hold informal discussions with district officials. They would also enjoy cultural program at the silver-desert.

On the third Day-on 6th December, session would begin with the address by Swami Sukhbodhanandji. During his discourse, he would offer tips of effective work-culture. At 11.00 am, principal secretary to Delhi-Government would deliver a lecture on 'Use of Information Technology in Education'. Experts in E-Governance would address the session. After the lunch session, it would take up various topics, like 'Outcome of Gunotsav', 'Swarnim Gujarat Celebrations', Karmayog- training for increasing efficiency, Future planning for Urban Governance, personal beneficiary schemes and Water Management etc.

Chintan Shibir would conclude with valedictory address by C.M, on 7th. Before that delegates would deliberate upon the outcomes and results of the discussions - contemplation. Concluding session would gather feedbacks and distribute the prizes.

Yoga-Sessions -from 6.30 to 7.30 in the morning. Chief Minister would meet all on breakfast. After lunch, C.M would interact with the delegates.

Diplomatic Advisor to President of France, Mr. Emmanuel Bonne met the Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi today in New Delhi.
