"How long can the nation wait now? For 60 years you chose Shasaks, now is the time to elect a Sevak: Shri Modi"

Addressing the ‘Bharat Vijay rallies’ in Betul and Chhegaon Makhan, Madhya Pradesh, on the afternoon of 18th April, 2014, Shri Narendra Modi affirmed that the only way to save the Nation from the corrupt policies of the Congress, was by voting for the BJP and forming a development-oriented government at the Centre.

Shri Modi appreciated the extensive development work done by MP Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan and spoke of how the state was revived from the ruin done during the ‘Bantadhaar’ politics by the focused efforts of Shri Chouhan, who successfully brought the State out of its tag of ‘bimaru rajya’.

Stating how the Congress’ divisive and destructive policies had ruined the Nation in the past 60 years, Shri Modi urged the people to support the BJP for better governance. He also spoke of how the Nation had never seen a government as arrogant as the Congress. Referring to the recently released book ‘The Accidental Prime Minister’, Shri Modi stated that the book had affirmed that it was the ‘Mother-Son’ duo who took the decisions for the Nation, and not the Prime Minister.

Shri Modi gave an assurance that the BJP, with its focus on growth and the development of all sections of the society, especially the marginalized and oppressed, will undo the Congress’ misdeeds of the past 60 years, in a span of merely 60 months.

He affirmed that the turnout in the initial phases of voting has already affirmed the wipe out of the Congress, and stated that the upcoming phases will be to form a strong and stable government at the Centre.
