Expressing his great admiration for unprecedented progress in Gujarat, film star Ajay Devgan today expressed willingness to set up a solar energy power project in the state.

During his meeting with Chief Minister Shri Narendrabhai Modi at the secretariat here, he was in all praise for Shri Modi's what he called ideal leadership qualities and his style of governance.

He said that he had earlier heard about the administrative skill of Shri Modi, but it was only after meeting him that he realized what kind of leadership is required in the country and how feats are achieved. He sought to know more about the achievements of Gujarat. He extended his greetings to the people on the occasion of the state's golden jubilee celebration.

He recalled how during a shooting schedule for a film in Kutch sometime back, he had found the backdrop picturesque and favourable. He looked forward to act in more films in Gujarat in future.

On a courtesy call, the film star also invited Shri Modi to view his recently released Hindi film 'Rajneeti'.

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, has expressed deep anguish over the mishap in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu.

Shri Modi said that he is distressed to hear about the incident and extended his heartfelt condolences to those who have lost their loved ones. He also prayed for the speedy recovery of those injured in the mishap.
