Narendra Modi continued with his election campaign and was in Uttar Pradesh on 10th April to address aam Janta. He attacked the congress and considered the party to be responsible for economic and social backwardness of Uttar Pradesh. The welfare of common man has never been of any interest to Congress and UPA government. In his views Congress and its allies only yearn for coming in rule. He questioned the large audience how can our nation be safe in the hands of the party that only aims to come in power and forgets the welfare of the common man?

Addressing the rallies he stated that Congress Party's yearning for coming in power and ruling the nation has caused terrible damage to the nation. He mentioned today a common man is not even able to afford one time meal for the day because of inflation. All that ruling party's vote bank policy can give to people is fear and hunger stated Narendra Modi. “A strong state like Uttar Pradesh is not able to prosper because of its being in trap of the congress party”- Narendra Modi.

He went on to say that the states like Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Chattisgarh and Karnataka where BJP rules are growing rapidly on the front of economic development and people in these states are given plenty of opportunities and facilities to grow and prosper.

He urged to the audience that if they want to save the nation they will have to abolish the congress party and UPA government from the throne. Addressing the large gathering in Devriya, Mirza pur, Bhadoli and Baliya, he appealed to the people to vote for BJP and NDA government so that the nation can have strong, capable and initiative taking government.
