The Birth Anniversary of Sardar Patel is celebrated as Rashtriya Ekta Diwas. Run for Unity is organised all over the country in a spirit of achieving the goal – Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat. Prime Minister said, “Tributes to Sardar Patel on his Jayanti. His contribution to our nation is monumental”

“He was the stalwart who unified India. A leader of farmers, a great administrator and uncompromising when it came to safeguarding rights of the poor, India will always remember Sardar Patel’s unparalleled contribution.”

Prime Minister also administered Rashtriya Ekta Diwas Pledge at Kevadiya.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke with His Majesty King Abdullah II, the King of Jordan.

The Prime Minister conveyed deep concern at the evolving situation in the region. He reaffirmed support for the peace, security, and well-being of the people of Jordan.

The Prime Minister also thanked His Majesty for taking care of the Indian community in Jordan in this difficult hour.
