In a tweet, the Prime Minister said, "Tributes to Biju Babu on his birth anniversary. His futuristic vision for India, emphasis on human empowerment as well as social justice inspires us all. The nation is proud of his efforts for Odisha’s progress."

Prime Minister congratulates Mr. Andy Burnham on assuming office as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi today extended congratulations to Mr. Andy Burnham on assuming office as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom.

Shri Modi noted that India and the UK are bound by shared democratic values and enjoy wide-ranging cooperation across trade, investment, technology, defence, and people-to-people relations. With CETA entering into force this month, the Prime Minister pointed out that the bilateral partnership is poised to grow even stronger.

The Prime Minister stated that he looks forward to working closely with him to further deepen the India-UK Comprehensive Strategic Partnership and advance their shared Vision 2035.

In a post on X, the Prime Minister shared:
