Prime Minister meets group of farmers from Tamil Nadu in Parliament

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi met with a group of farmers from Tamil Nadu earlier today in Parliament. Shri Modi was amazed to hear about their experiences and their focus on innovation and embracing new farming techniques to boost productivity as well as increase sustainability.

The Prime Minister posted on X;

“தமிழ்நாட்டைச் சேர்ந்த விவசாயிகள் குழு ஒன்றை இன்று காலை நாடாளுமன்றத்தில் சந்தித்தேன். புதிய கண்டுபிடிப்பு, உற்பத்தி திறனை ஊக்குவிக்கவும், நிலைத்தன்மையை அதிகரிக்கவும் புதிய வேளாண் தொழில்நுட்பங்களை பயன்படுத்துவதில் அவர்களின் கவனம் மற்றும் அனுபவங்கள் பற்றி கேட்டறிந்தது உற்சாகம் அளிப்பதாக இருந்தது.”

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi had a telephone conversation today with the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, H.E. Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian.

President Pezeshkian briefed the Prime Minister on the recent developments in West Asia and the way forward.

Prime Minister welcomed the understanding reached, and reiterated India’s consistent position that all issues must be resolved through dialogue and diplomacy.
