The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi has praised the efforts of Ankur, a resident of Ban Village of Kurukshetra Haryana toward Water conservation.

Responding to the tweet by Kurukshetra MP, Shri Nayab Saini, the Prime Minister tweeted;

“बेहतरीन पहल! जल संरक्षण की दिशा में कुरुक्षेत्र के हमारे अंकुर जी का यह प्रयास हर किसी के लिए एक मिसाल है।”

PM Modi shares Sanskrit Subhashitam emphasising the importance of Farmers

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, shared a Sanskrit Subhashitam-

“सुवर्ण-रौप्य-माणिक्य-वसनैरपि पूरिताः।

तथापि प्रार्थयन्त्येव कृषकान् भक्ततृष्णया।।”

The Subhashitam conveys that even when possessing gold, silver, rubies, and fine clothes, people still have to depend on farmers for food.

The Prime Minister wrote on X;

“सुवर्ण-रौप्य-माणिक्य-वसनैरपि पूरिताः।

तथापि प्रार्थयन्त्येव कृषकान् भक्ततृष्णया।।"
