PM lauds first dose vaccination of over 50% of youngsters between 15-18 age group

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi has lauded the first dose vaccination of over 50% of youngsters between 15-18 age group.

In response to a tweet by Union Health Minister, Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya, the Prime Minister said;

"Young and youthful India showing the way!

This is encouraging news. Let us keep the momentum.

It is important to vaccinate and observe all COVID-19 related protocols. Together, we will fight this pandemic."

Prime Minister shares Sanskrit Subhashitam, says life of Shyamji Krishna Varma inspires courage

The Prime Minister said that from the life of the great freedom fighter Shyamji Krishna Varma, we receive an extraordinary inspiration of courage and determination. “It also instills in the countrymen the sentiment of fulfilling their duties toward the nation”, Shri Modi added.

The Prime Minister shared a Sanskrit verse-

“विचित्रचरितोल्लेखचमत्कारितचेतनम्।

प्राप्यते किं यशः शुभ्रमनङ्गीकृत्य साहसम्॥”

The Prime Minister wrote on X;

“महान स्वतंत्रता सेनानी श्यामजी कृष्ण वर्मा के जीवन से हमें साहस और हौसले की अद्भुत प्रेरणा मिलती है। यह देशवासियों में राष्ट्र के प्रति अपने कर्तव्यों के निर्वहन की भावना भी भरता है।
