Prime Minister greets the people of Telangana on Statehood Day

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi today extended his greetings to the people of Telangana on the special occasion of Telangana Statehood Day.

The Prime Minister noted that the people of Telangana are known for their spirit of innovation and enterprise, and highlighted the state's glorious culture and history of courage and determination. Shri Modi affirmed the Central Government's commitment to supporting Telangana's growth trajectory in realising the dream of a 'Viksit Bharat', and prayed for the good health and success of the people of the state.

The Prime Minister posted on X:

"Greetings to the people of Telangana on the special occasion of Telangana Statehood Day. The people of Telangana are known for their spirit of innovation and enterprise. The State is known for its glorious culture and history...one of courage and determination. The Central Government is committed to supporting Telangana's growth trajectory in realising our dream of a Viksit Bharat. Praying for the good health and success of the people of the State"

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi today shared a Sanskrit Subhashitam, observing that firm resolve and self-control are the powers that make even the most difficult paths easy. Shri Modi highlighted that today, our youth are continuously engaged in nation-building with this very resolve.

The Prime Minister posted on X:

"दृढ़ निश्चय और आत्म-संयम वह शक्ति है, जो कठिन से कठिन राह को भी आसान बना देती है। आज हमारे युवा साथी इसी संकल्प के साथ राष्ट्र निर्माण में निरंतर जुटे हुए हैं।

निश्चित्य यः प्रक्रमते
नान्तर्वसति कर्मणः।

अबन्ध्यकालो वश्यात्मा
स वै पण्डित उच्यते॥"

A person who begins a task after careful deliberation and with firm resolve, who never leaves it unfinished, who uses time wisely and who maintains complete control over their senses, such a person alone is truly wise.
