The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi has greeted everyone on the occasion of Bohag Bihu. He said that this special festival showcases the vibrant Assamese culture. Shri Modi also wished that May this Bihu bring with it happiness and good health in everyone’s lives.

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi shared a Sanskrit Subhashitam today, highlighting the power of determination, perseverance, and courage in overcoming life's challenges and turning adverse circumstances into favorable ones.

The Prime Minister wrote on X;

"दैवं पुरुषकारेण यः समर्थः प्रबाधितुम्।

न दैवेन विपन्नार्थः पुरुषः सोऽवसीदति॥"

A person who possesses the determination, perseverance and courage to turn adverse circumstances into favorable ones is never defeated by the challenges of life. Instead, through continuous effort and unwavering resolve, he moves forward and ultimately achieves success.
