The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi today hailed the inclusion of Shantivan at Kutch, a tribute to those lost in the tragic Earthquake of 2001, in the World Selection for the Prix Versailles Museums 2024.

In reply to a post by Prix Versailles Museums, the Prime Minister posted on X :

"Smritivan in Kutch is a tribute to those we lost in the tragic Earthquake of 2001. It is a reminder of human resilience and courage as well. Glad that this Museum has found a place on the World Selection for the Prix Versailles Museums 2024."

PM announces ex-gratia from PMNRF

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi today condoled the loss of lives in a road accident on the Jejuri-Morgaon road in Pune, Maharashtra. He announced an ex-gratia of Rs. 2 lakh from PMNRF for the next of kin of each deceased and Rs. 50,000 to the injured.

“Deeply saddened by the loss of lives due to a road accident on the Jejuri-Morgaon road in Pune, Maharashtra. Condolences to those who have lost their loved ones. May the injured recover soon.

An ex-gratia of Rs. 2 lakh from PMNRF would be given to the next of kin of each deceased. The injured would be given Rs. 50,000: PM @narendramodi”
