The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi has congratulated Smt. Rekha Gupta on taking oath as Chief Minister of Delhi. Shri Modi said that she has risen from the grassroots, being active in campus politics, state organisation, municipal administration and now MLA as well as Chief Minister.

The Prime Minister wrote on X;

“Congratulations to Smt. Rekha Gupta Ji on taking oath as Delhi's Chief Minister. She has risen from the grassroots, being active in campus politics, state organisation, municipal administration and now MLA as well as Chief Minister. The Prime Minister wrote on X;

"हमारे युवा साथी देश का भविष्य ही नहीं, वर्तमान की सबसे बड़ी शक्ति भी हैं। उन्होंने अपनी संवेदनशीलता, सेवाभाव और सामर्थ्य से दुनियाभर में अलग पहचान बनाई है।

चक्षुषा मनसा वाचा कर्मणा च चतुर्विधम्।

प्रसादयति यो लोकं तं लोकोऽनुप्रसीदति।।"

A person who wins people's hearts through his vision, thoughts, words and actions earns, in return, their trust, respect and goodwill.
