The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi has condoled the demise of veteran bureaucrat, Dr. Manjula Subramaniam.

The Prime Minister tweeted;

"Anguished by the demise of veteran bureaucrat Dr. Manjula Subramaniam Ji. She was widely respected for her understanding of policy related issues and action oriented approach. I recall my interactions with her when I was CM. Condolences to her family and friends. Om Shanti."

The Prime Minister wrote on X;

"अभयस्यैव यो दाता तस्यैव सुमहत्फलम् ।

न हि प्राणसमं दानं त्रिषु लोकेषु विद्यते ॥"

Whoever takes away people's fear receives great blessings, and in all three worlds, there is no greater gift than saving a life.
