Prime Minister condoles the demise of poet and thinker Ande Sri

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi has expressed deep grief over demise of prolific poet and thinker, Ande Sri. Shri Modi stated that the passing of Ande Sri leaves a deep void in our cultural and intellectual landscape. "His thoughts reflected the soul of Telangana. His thoughts reflected the soul of Telangana. A prolific poet and thinker, he was the voice of the people, articulating their struggles, aspirations and undying spirit. His words had the power to stir hearts, unite voices and give shape to the collective pulse of society. The way he blended social consciousness with lyrical beauty was outstanding", Shri Modi said.

The Prime Minister posted on X:

"The passing of Ande Sri leaves a deep void in our cultural and intellectual landscape. His thoughts reflected the soul of Telangana. “అందె శ్రీ మరణం మన సాంస్కృతిక, మేధో ప్రపంచంలో పూడ్చలేని లోటు. ఆయన ఆలోచనలు తెలంగాణ ఆత్మను ప్రతిబింబిస్తాయి. ఒక గొప్ప కవి, మేధావి అయిన ఆయన, ప్రజల పోరాటాలకు , ఆకాంక్షలకు ,అకుంఠిత స్ఫూర్తికి గొంతుకగా నిలిచారు. ఆయన పదాలకు హృదయాలను కదిలించే శక్తి, అన్ని వర్గాల ప్రజల ఆకాంక్షలను ఏకం చేసే శక్తి,ప్రజల సాంఘిక హృదయస్పందనకి రూపం ఇచ్చే శక్తి ఉన్నాయి. ఆయన సామాజిక స్పృహను,సాహితీ సౌందర్యంతో మిళితం చేసిన విధానం అద్వితీయం. వారి కుటుంబసభ్యులకు,అభిమానులకు నా ప్రగాఢ సంతాపం తెలియజేస్తున్నాను. ఓం శాంతి."

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, shared a Sanskrit Subhashitam emphasising on collective strength and resolve for progress and well-being of the nation:

“स्वस्ति पन्थामनुचरेम सूर्याचन्द्रमसाविव।

पुनर्ददाताघ्नता जानता सङ्गमेमहि॥”

The Prime Minister said that boundless strength of the people of India is the axis of the nation's development. Through our capabilities and mutual trust, we have realized every resolve and will continue to do so in the future.

The Subhashitam conveys that, may we continuously walk on the auspicious path like the sun and the moon. May we move forward together with mutual nonviolence, harmony, and wisdom, and with each others’ support towards progress and well-being.

The Prime Minister wrote on X;

“भारतवासियों की असीम शक्ति ही देश के विकास की धुरी है। अपने सामर्थ्य और परस्पर विश्वास से हम हर संकल्प को साकार करते आए हैं और आगे भी करते रहेंगे।
