Announces ex-gratia from PMNRF

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi has expressed deep grief over the loss of lives due to the collapse of a building in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Shri Modi also wished speedy recovery for those injured in the accident.

The Prime Minister announced an ex-gratia from PMNRF of Rs. 2 lakh to the next of kin of each deceased and Rs. 50,000 for those injured.

The Prime Minister’s Office posted on X;

“Saddened by the mishap due to the collapse of a building in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. My thoughts are with the affected people and their families in this difficult hour. Praying for the speedy recovery of the injured.

An ex-gratia of Rs. 2 lakh from PMNRF would be given to the next of kin of each deceased. The injured would be given Rs. 50,000: PM @narendramodi”

“சென்னையில் ஏற்பட்ட கட்டிடம் இடிந்து விழுந்த துயரச் சம்பவம் என்னை மிகுந்த வருத்தமடையச் செய்தது. இந்த கடினமான வேளையில் பாதிக்கப்பட்டவர்கள் மற்றும் அவர்களின் குடும்பத்தினருடன் என் ஆழ்ந்த அனுதாபங்களும் எண்ணங்களும் இணைந்துள்ளன.காயமடைந்தவர்கள் விரைவில் நலம்பெற வேண்டி நான் பிரார்த்திக்கிறேன்.

உயிரிழந்த ஒவ்வொருவரின் குடும்பத்தினருக்கும் பிரதமர் தேசிய நிவாரண நிதியிலிருந்து (PMNRF) ரூ.2 லட்சமும், காயமடைந்தவர்களுக்கு ரூ.50,000மும் நிவாரணமாக வழங்கப்படும்: பிரதமர் @narendramodi”
