This is the first election in which leaders of the Congress party are not talking about winning the elections themselves but are threatening the country that if BJP wins: PM Modi
BJP considers the entire country as a family. Congress considers their family bigger than the nation, says PM Modi in Kotputli
By 2014, only 20,000 kilometers of railway lines were electrified. In 10 years, we have doubled it: PM Modi at Kotputli Rally
The upcoming third term of the BJP government promises historic and decisive decisions to propel the country forward: PM Modi

Launching the BJP-led NDA's campaign in Rajasthan’s Kotputli for the Lok Sabha polls, Prime Minister Narendra Modi reminisced about how he highlighted the magnificence of Jaipur a few days ago during the visit of the President of France. The PM said, “The first electoral rally of my Rajasthan campaign began in Dhundhar in 2019. Now, in 2024, the electoral campaign begins again from the same region. You have also made your decision – ‘Phir Ek Baar, Modi Sarkar’.”

Citing the division in the country's politics once again, PM Modi said, “On one side, there's the BJP, committed to the nation's first principles. On the other side, there's the Congress, bent on plundering the country. The BJP views the nation as its family, while the Congress prioritizes its own family over the nation. The BJP works to enhance India's pride in the world, whereas the Congress tends to insult India abroad."

“Rajasthan has always stood firm against such anti-national dynastic forces. Rajasthan gave all 25 seats to the BJP in 2014. Rajasthan also gave all 25 seats to the NDA in 2019. And now, in 2024, Rajasthan is once again going to give all 25 seats,” he added.

Addressing the massive rally, PM Modi remarked, “In 2024, this Lok Sabha election is no ordinary election. This election aims to make India the world's third-largest economy. It's an election to uproot corruption from its core. It's an election to fulfill the dream of self-reliant India. It's an election committed to the prosperity of farmers. This is the first election where dynastic parties are rallying to save their families. This is the first election where all corrupt individuals are rallying together to halt action against corruption. I say - eradicate corruption, they say - save the corrupt.”

Hitting out at the opposition, PM Modi asserted, “I question dynastic parties and their corruption, that's why I'm their target. They hurl abuses at me and say Modi doesn't have any family. For me, you are my family – ‘Mera Bharat, Mera Parivar’. Your dream is my determination.”

PM Modi underscored his government's proactive approach, contrasting it with the neglect of previous governments. He pointed out the neglect of small farmers and shramiks by the Congress, contrasting it with his initiatives like the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme and pension schemes. PM Modi also highlighted the BJP government's provision of free ration to 80 crore needy individuals in the country.

Boasting about the ‘Made In India’ initiative, PM Modi stated, “During the Congress era, India was known as one of the largest importers of weapons in the world. Today, under the BJP government, India is being recognized as a country that exports arms. Just recently, India set a new record in defence exports. For the first time since independence, India has exported defence equipment worth Rs 21,000 crore. India now sells "Made in India" weapons to more than 80 countries. Therefore, I'll say it – ‘Neeyat Sahi, Toh Nateeje Sahi’.”

In a practical state of mind, PM Modi pointed out that, “Amidst India's success, I never asserted we achieved everything in 10 years. However, we have indeed achieved what wasn't done in the last 5-6 decades post-independence. We have worked at the necessary pace.”

Recalling about several milestones from the past years, PM Modi mentioned “By 2014, only 20,000 kilometres of railway lines were electrified. In 10 years, we've doubled it. While Congress talked about poverty, the BJP lifted 25 crore people out of it. Modi fulfilled long-awaited decisions: abolishing Article 370, building a grand Ram temple, enacting laws against triple talaq, and implementing One Rank, One Pension,” and reiterated that “Modi has completed the decisions which were awaited for decades.”

PM Modi remarked that whatever happened in 10 years is just a trailer and positively affirmed, “The upcoming third term of the BJP government promises historic and decisive decisions to propel the country forward. Much remains to be accomplished.”

Taking a sharp jibe at the opposition and their tactics, PM Modi said, “When I push for a developed India and fight corruption, critics from the Congress and INDI Alliance lash out at Modi. Yet, the people of Rajasthan are aware that ‘Dal Baati Churma, Voter Mhara Surma’.”

Cabinet approves integration and continuation of two schemes under umbrella scheme SARTHAK-PDS
May 27, 2026
Centre to spend Rs. 25,530 crore in next 5 years for SARTHAK PDS
Continuation of schemes to ensure last-mile delivery of Food grains with higher FPS Dealers’ commission
Government strive for intelligently optimized PDS operations through advanced technologies to ensure transparency, security and sustainability in PDS operations

The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA) chaired by the Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has approved the continuation of the “Scheme for Assistance in Ration Transport and Handling-Income with Automation in PDS” (SARTHAK PDS) as an umbrella scheme, in the 16th Finance Commission cycle award period, with an outlay of Rs. 25,530 crore as Central share.

The CCEA has also decided to revise the norms of Central assistance for meeting expenditure incurred by States/UTs intra-state movement & handling of foodgrains and FPS dealers’ margin and continuation of the existing funding pattern of Central Assistance.

The Scheme is conceived as an umbrella scheme integrating the ongoing schemes: (i) “Assistance to State Agencies for intra-State movement of foodgrains and FPS dealers’ margin under NFSA” and (ii) “Scheme for Modernization and Reforms through Technology in Public Distribution System (SMART PDS)” to comprehensively strengthen implementation of the National Food Security Act, 2013 (NFSA).

SARTHAK-PDS Scheme aims to provide (a) assured financial support for intra-State movement, handling and FPS dealer’s margin, and (b) a unified, citizen-centric, intelligent and interoperable PDS architecture that ensures last-mile service delivery, minimizes leakages and strengthens the nation’s commitment to food security under NFSA, with the merged scheme to operate up to 31.03.2031.

SARTHAK-PDS Scheme seeks to modernize, integrate and intelligently optimize PDS operations through advanced technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Blockchain, by creating standardized architectures and unified databases for real-time monitoring, AI-driven grievance and analytics systems, State Command Control Centres for data-driven oversight, and ISO-certified process frameworks to ensure transparency, security and sustainability in PDS operations.

Government of India has a social & legal commitment to the people of the nation - a dignified life by ensuring them access to food and nutritional security through the availability of adequate quantities of quality food grains. The Scheme will work towards fulfilling the Government of India's commitment to 81.35 crore persons covered under NFSA. Building on the statutory and policy framework, SARTHAK-PDS retains and streamlines the financial assistance component while simultaneously embedding it within a modern, technology-driven PDS ecosystem.

Over the past decade, the Government has implemented multiple digitization initiatives such as End-to-End Computerization of TPDS, Integrated Management of PDS (IM-PDS) and SMART PDS, along with citizen-facing applications like Mera Ration, Anna Mitra, Rightful Targeting Dashboard and Anna Sahayata, and since 1st April 2023, the SMART PDS scheme has acted as the cornerstone of technology-led reforms by enabling complete digitization of ration cards, Aadhaar seeding, FPS automation through e-PoS, online allocation and computerized supply-chain management across 36 States/UTs.
