PM announces ex-gratia from PMNRF for stampede victims in Karur, Tamil Nadu

The Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi today announced an ex-gratia of Rs. 2 lakh from PMNRF to be given to the next of kin of each deceased in the unfortunate incident at a political rally in Karur, Tamil Nadu. The injured would be given Rs. 50,000.

The PMO India handle in separate posts on X said:

“PM @narendramodi has announced an ex-gratia of Rs. 2 lakh from PMNRF to be given to the next of kin of each deceased in the unfortunate incident at a political rally in Karur, Tamil Nadu. The injured would be given Rs. 50,000.”

“தமிழ்நாட்டின் கரூரில் நடைபெற்ற அரசியல் பொதுக்கூட்டத்தில் ஏற்பட்ட துயரச் சம்பவத்தில் உயிரிழந்தோரின் குடும்பத்தினருக்கு பிரதமர் தேசிய நிவாரண நிதியிலிருந்து (PMNRF) ரூ.2 லட்சமும், காயமடைந்தோருக்கு ரூ.50,000மும் நிவாரணமாக வழங்கப்படும் என பிரதமர் @narendramodi அறிவித்துள்ளார்.”
