PM Modi inaugurates Kanpur Metro Project, takes ride with CM Yogi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the completed section of Kanpur Metro Rail Project. Soon after the inauguration and inspection of the newly launched service, PM Modi took a ride on board the metro with Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath.

“On board the state-of-the-art Kanpur metro. Heading to the programme where key development works will be launched,” tweeted the Prime Minister after boarding the metro. Prime Minister Modi took a metro ride from IIT metro station to Geeta Nagar.

The inauguration of the completed section of the Kanpur Metro Rail Project is a step to improve urban mobility and add to ‘Ease of Living’ for the people of Kanpur.

A group of eminent Malayali litterateurs called upon the Prime Minister today to express their gratitude regarding the renaming of Kerala to Keralam.
