Congress’ soft approach towards terror wreaked havoc on India’s national security: Prime Minister Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed two huge rallies in Udaipur and Jodhpur in the second half of his election campaigning today. Speaking about one of the major achievements of his government, PM Modi said, “The last five years have shown the country that it is indeed possible to successfully run an honest, transparent and people-oriented government in India.”

Describing how his government has continuously acted tough on corruption, Prime Minister Modi said, “The people of India know that those who loot their money or indulge in corruption will not go unpunished under this ‘Chowkidar’ government. Economic fugitives are now aware that they will either have to come back and pay for their actions or they will be extradited from other countries just like ‘Michel Mama’ of a certain Namdar.”

Lashing out at the Congress and its allies in the ‘Mahamilawat’ for their neglect of the country’s security, PM Modi said, “The land of Mewar is known for its bravery and courage and its people here never compromise on their self-respect, however, the Congress and its allies get upset when Modi proudly talks about the valor of our armed forces. They were also the ones asking for evidence of the Balakot airstrikes and their secretive and soft approach towards terror wreaked havoc on India’s national security. The Congress disregards the values of bravery, courage and pride that Maharana Pratap instilled in the people of Rajasthan.”

Concluding his power-packed address to the sea of supporters gathered to hear him, Prime Minister Modi criticised the Congress and its ecosystem for neglecting India’s rich historical and cultural traditions as well as its independence heroes like Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose and Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. He also took potshots at Congress for openly accepting its dislike for the middle class as seen by recent statements of its leaders calling the middle class as ‘Selfish and Greedy.’ He further asked his supporters to stand with the BJP in the ongoing Lok Sabha elections so as to bring back the days of clean and transparent governance in Rajasthan.
