PM meets Ban Ki-moon at the UN headquarters

Prime Minister Narendra Modi met UN Secretary General Ban Ki Moon before his address to the 69th session of the UN General Assembly.

During the meeting, the Prime Minister emphasized the importance of involving nations which contribute troops to UN peacekeeping missions, in the decision-making process. He also emphasized the urgent need for UN reform, as the organization approaches its 70th anniversary.

The Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi today received a memento of Swami Samarth. Shri Modi remarked that the Government will always work to realise his vision for our society.
