PM given presentation on Kyoto

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, was today given a presentation on Kyoto, by the Mayor of the city, Daisuku Kadokawa.

During the presentation, Mr. Kadokawa said that he was impressed with the Prime Minister’s vision of development. The Mayor explained how Kyoto, a city with 1200 years of history, had been able to conserve its heritage.

The Prime Minister said India and Japan should work together to develop cultural heritage cities. “I would like to devote myself for the promotion of interaction between India and Japan,” Mr. Kadokawa said.

Prime Minister highlights growing global engagement and investment in India

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi today highlighted India’s readiness to contribute towards a better planet and noted that the world is engaging with and investing in India with hope and enthusiasm.

The Prime Minister stated that thanks to the 140 crore people of India, the world looks at India with hope and enthusiasm. He added that this is also why the world is engaging with India and investing in India.

The Prime Minister highlighted these observations under #12YearsOfIndiaFirst.
