The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi has expressed deep grief over the demise of noted Kannada writer and poet, Shri Chennaveera Kanavi.

In a tweet, the Prime Minister said;

"Shri Chennaveera Kanavi’s sublime poetry and writings have enriched Kannada literature for decades. Saddened by his demise. Condolences to his family and admirers. Om Shanti."

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, shared a Sanskrit Subhashitam applauding the effort and dedication of India's Youth:

"न हि ज्ञानेन सदृशं पवित्रमिह विद्यते ।

तत्स्वयं योगसंसिद्ध: कालेनात्मनि विन्दति ॥"

Shri Modi said that through continuous effort and dedication, our talents are honed and refined, and our youth is imbibing these very qualities and bringing glory to India.

The Prime Minister posted on X:

निरंतर प्रयास और साधना से हमारी प्रतिभा और निखरती है। आज हमारे युवा इन्हीं गुणों को आत्मसात कर दुनियाभर में देश का नाम रोशन कर रहे हैं।
