Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi attended the ‘At Home’ reception by Chief of Air Staff, at the Air House, New Delhi today.
At the venue, Prime Minister visited the exhibition ‘IAF Innovation Display’. The theme of the exhibition was self-reliance through innovation and indigenisation.
Prime Minister also released the commemorative stamp of the Marshal of Indian Airforce, Shri Arjan Singh.
The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi inaugurated the first Emergency Landing Facility (ELF) of the northeast in Dibrugarh, Assam. Shri Modi stated that it is a matter of immense pride that the Northeast gets an Emergency Landing Facility, and is of great importance from a strategic point of view and during times of natural disasters.
