People of India stand firmly with Israel in this difficult hour: PM

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, thanked his Israeli counterpart Benjamin Netanyahu for updating him on the ongoing situation in his country.

Condemning terrorism in all its forms, the Prime Minister expressed solidarity with Israel at this difficult time.

The Prime Minister posted on X:

"I thank Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for his phone call and providing an update on the ongoing situation. People of India stand firmly with Israel in this difficult hour. India strongly and unequivocally condemns terrorism in all its forms and manifestations."

Prime Minister Highlights Sanskrit Wisdom in Doordarshan’s Suprabhatam

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi today underscored the enduring relevance of Sanskrit in India’s cultural and spiritual life, noting its daily presence in Doordarshan’s Suprabhatam program.

The Prime Minister observed that each morning, the program features a Sanskrit subhāṣita (wise saying), seamlessly weaving together values and culture.

In a post on X, Shri Modi said:

“दूरदर्शनस्य सुप्रभातम् कार्यक्रमे प्रतिदिनं संस्कृतस्य एकं सुभाषितम् अपि भवति। एतस्मिन् संस्कारतः संस्कृतिपर्यन्तम् अन्यान्य-विषयाणां समावेशः क्रियते। एतद् अस्ति अद्यतनं सुभाषितम्....”
