PM pays homage to Parbati Giri Ji on her birth centenary

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi paid homage to Parbati Giri Ji on her birth centenary today. Shri Modi commended her role in the movement to end colonial rule, her passion for community service and work in sectors like healthcare, women empowerment and culture.

“ପାର୍ବତୀ ଗିରି ଜୀଙ୍କୁ ତାଙ୍କର ଜନ୍ମ ଶତବାର୍ଷିକୀ ଅବସରରେ ଶ୍ରଦ୍ଧାଞ୍ଜଳି ଅର୍ପଣ କରୁଛି। ଔପନିବେଶିକ ଶାସନର ଅନ୍ତ ଘଟାଇବା ଲାଗି ଆନ୍ଦୋଳନରେ ସେ ପ୍ରଶଂସନୀୟ ଭୂମିକା ଗ୍ରହଣ କରିଥିଲେ । ଜନ ସେବା ପ୍ରତି ତାଙ୍କର ଆଗ୍ରହ ଏବଂ ସ୍ୱାସ୍ଥ୍ୟସେବା, ମହିଳା ସଶକ୍ତିକରଣ ଓ ସଂସ୍କୃତି କ୍ଷେତ୍ରରେ ତାଙ୍କର କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ ଉଲ୍ଲେଖନୀୟ ଥିଲା। ଗତ ମାସର #MannKiBaat କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକ୍ରମରେ ମଧ୍ୟ ମୁଁ ଏହା କହିଥିଲି ।”

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, paid tributes to freedom fighter, Shri Pingali Venkayya on his 150th birth anniversary.

The Prime Minister remembered Pingali Venkayya for his invaluable role in giving the nation the Tricolour and said that his efforts continue to inspire people to serve the country with dedication and patriotic fervour.

Shri Modi said that the Tiranga fills every Indian heart with immense pride and inspires the nation to work towards nation-building.

The Prime Minister wrote on X;
