Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed public gatherings in Balurghat, and Raiganj, West Bengal, expressing confidence in the state's potential for development and outlining BJP’s vision for the future. The Prime Minister emphasized the enthusiastic support from the people of Bengal, underscoring their role in ushering in an era of progress and prosperity.

During his address, PM Modi reiterated the BJP's commitment to the welfare of the people, citing the recently unveiled BJP manifesto as a testament to the party's dedication. He highlighted key promises for the next five years, including the construction of 3 crore new houses for the poor, provision of solar panels for free electricity, continuation of free ration distribution, and free healthcare for elderly citizens under the Ayushman Bharat scheme.

"The BJP's manifesto reflects our unwavering pledge to uplift every section of society, especially the poor, Dalits, Adivasis, and women of Bengal," said PM Modi. "Our initiatives aim to empower individuals and transform lives, ensuring that no one is left behind in the journey of development," he added.

PM Modi also addressed the historical significance of Bengal, acknowledging the invaluable contributions of its tribal communities and the sacrifices made by its youth. He underscored the BJP's efforts to uphold the dignity of tribals and Dalits, citing initiatives such as the celebration of 'Janjatiya Gaurav Diwas' and the establishment of Eklavya residential schools.

"Under the BJP government, Bengal's tribal communities and Dalits are not just beneficiaries but active participants in the development process. Our commitment to their welfare is unwavering, and we will continue to champion their cause with unwavering resolve," affirmed PM Modi.

“A major reason for the backwardness of the Dinajpur region is also the neglect of farmers and artisans here. The handicrafts of Ganga Rampur, made by artisans here, are praised everywhere. The farmers here who grow jute fulfill the country's needs. After so many decades, it is the BJP government that has shown concern for the farmers and artisans,” he added.

Furthermore, PM Modi denounced the divisive tactics employed by the TMC, accusing the party of obstructing development and perpetuating a culture of fear and intimidation. He said, “TMC is openly playing the game of corruption in Bengal. Government contracts have turned into business opportunities for TMC goons. To the extent that even in the recruitment of primary teachers, scandals are happening. Raids on positions of ministers in the government led to the discovery of crores of rupees in cash. When agencies take action against corrupt officials, attacks are orchestrated against them.”

He condemned instances of violence against BJP workers and highlighted the need for a transparent and accountable government that prioritizes the welfare of its citizens. “The TMC government of Bengal has become a hub for toll collectors, criminals, and corrupt people. BJP workers are killed here every day. A few years ago, our booth president was murdered in Balurghat. The atrocities committed against women in Sandeshkhali, the incidents of exploitation that came to light, shook the entire country. The country has also seen how the TMC government continued to protect the criminals involved in Sandeshkhali till the end,” said PM Modi.

"In contrast to the TMC's politics of appeasement and fear-mongering, the BJP stands for inclusive growth and empowerment," remarked PM Modi. "The upcoming elections present a critical opportunity for the people of Bengal to reject divisive forces and embrace a future of prosperity and progress."

During his public address in Raiganj, PM Modi remarked, "Today, everyone is saying – 4 June, 400 Paar, ‘Phir Ek Bar, Modi Sarkar," emphasizing the alignment of BJP's vision with the esteemed thoughts of Bengal luminaries such as Swami Vivekananda, Bankim Chandra Chattopadhyay, and Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore.

Speaking about BJP's manifesto, PM Modi asserted that it serves as his guarantee card for the people. He outlined several key promises, including providing homes to 3 crore poor people under the PM Awas Yojana, expanding infrastructure projects like Vande Bharat and Amrit Bharat, and offering free treatment for the elderly over 70 years of age.

“TMC opposes the CAA law and spreads false rumors about it. However, TMC has permitted Bangladeshi-Rohingya infiltrators to spoil the demographics and law and order of Bengal. They protect these people. These people have put the future of Bengal at stake to increase their vote bank,” said PM Modi.

Addressing concerns about the safety of women under the current TMC government, PM Modi condemned incidents of violence and oppression against women, pledging to prioritize Bengal's development and security. He said, “Incidents of violence have shocked the entire nation and the world. People from the TMC oppressed our sisters and daughters. Such incidents, which even a civilized society cannot imagine. The Bengal known for its education and culture, the Bengal that worships the goddess, has been brought to such a state by these people.”

He called upon the people of Bengal to stand against corruption, nepotism, and oppression, asserting that the BJP stands as a beacon of hope for the state. Who gave open permission to the goons and mafias of Sandeshkhali to commit atrocities on women? When women's organizations and other women wanted to wipe the tears of those sisters, why wasn't the TMC government permitting them? Will Bengal, which worships power, forgive them for this heinous sin? Should they be punished for this crime or not?” PM Modi asserted.

PM Modi concluded his address by urging the people of West Bengal to vote for BJP candidates in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections on April 26 and to spread Modi's message of progress and prosperity to every household in Bengal.
