ପ୍ରଧାନମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଶ୍ରୀ ନରେନ୍ଦ୍ର ମୋଦୀ ଆଜି ଗୁଜରାଟର ସାବରମତୀ ଆଶ୍ରମର ଶତବାର୍ଷିକୀ ସମାରୋହରେ ଯୋଗ ଦେଇଥିଲେ । ଏହି ଅବସରରେ ଉଦ୍ବୋଧନ ଦେଇ ସେ କହିଥିଲେ ଯେ ଆଜି ସମଗ୍ର ବିଶ୍ୱ ସମ୍ମୁଖିନ ହେଉଥିବା ଆହ୍ୱାନଗୁଡ଼ିକୁ ମୁକାବିଲା କରିବାର ଶକ୍ତି ମହାତ୍ମାଗାନ୍ଧୀଙ୍କ ବିଚାରରେ ରହିଛି ।  

ସେ କହିଥିଲେ ଯେ ଇତିହାସ ସହିତ ଯୋଡ଼ି ହୋଇ ରହିବା ଏକ ସମାଜ ପାଇଁ ଗୁରୁତ୍ୱପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ । ଶ୍ରୀମଦ୍ ରାଜଚନ୍ଦ୍ରଜୀଙ୍କ 150ତମ ଜନ୍ମବାର୍ଷିକୀରେ ତାଙ୍କ ଯୋଗଦାନର ସ୍ମୃତିଚାରଣ କରି ପ୍ରଧାନମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ମୋଦୀ ତାଙ୍କ ଜୀବନୀ ଏବଂ ବିଚାରଧାରା ଉପରେ ଅଧିକ ଶୈକ୍ଷିକ ଅନୁସନ୍ଧାନ କରିବା ଲାଗି ଆହ୍ୱାନ କରିଥିଲେ ।

ସ୍ୱଚ୍ଛତା ସମ୍ପର୍କରେ ମତବ୍ୟକ୍ତ କରି ଶ୍ରୀ ମୋଦି କହିଥିଲେ ଏହା ଆମ ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କ ଅଭ୍ୟାସ ହେବା ଉଚିତ୍ । ଏହା 2019ରେ ମହାତ୍ମା ଗାନ୍ଧୀଙ୍କ 150ତମ ଜନ୍ମବାର୍ଷିକୀରେ ତାଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ଶ୍ରେଷ୍ଠ ଶ୍ରଦ୍ଧାଞ୍ଜଳି ହେବ ବୋଲି ସେ କହିଥିଲେ ।

ସେ ସାରା ବିଶ୍ୱର ଜନସାଧାରଣଙ୍କୁ ସାବରମତୀ ଆଶ୍ରମକୁ ଆସିବା ଲାଗି ଆମନ୍ତ୍ରଣ ଜଣାଇଥିଲେ ।

ତଥାକଥିତ ଗୋ-ରକ୍ଷକଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି କଠୋର ମନ୍ତବ୍ୟ ଦେଇ ପ୍ରଧାନମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ କହିଥିଲେ, “ଆମେ ଅହିଂସାର ମାଟିରେ ରହୁଛୁ । ଆମେ ଗାନ୍ଧୀଙ୍କ ଭୂମିରେ ରହୁଛୁ ।

 ଗୋରକ୍ଷା ପାଇଁ ମହାତ୍ମା ଗାନ୍ଧୀ ଏବଂ ଆଚାର୍ଯ୍ୟ ବିନେବା ଭାବେଙ୍କ ଛଡ଼ା ଅନ୍ୟ କେହି ସେତେଟା ଉଦ୍ୟମ କରିନଥିବେ । ହଁ । ଏହା ହେବା ଉଚିତ୍” ।  

ତେବେ ଗୋ-ଭକ୍ତି ନାମରେ ଲୋକଙ୍କ ହତ୍ୟା କଦାପି ଗ୍ରହଣୀୟ ନୁହେଁ ବୋଲି ସେ ମତବ୍ୟକ୍ତ କରିଥିଲେ । ମହାତ୍ମା ଗାନ୍ଧୀ ହୁଏତ ଏହାକୁ ଗ୍ରହଣ କରିପାରିନଥାନ୍ତେ ବୋଲି ସେ ମତପ୍ରକାଶ କରିଥିଲେ । ଆମ ସମାଜରେ ହିଂସାର ସ୍ଥାନ ନାହିଁ; ଦେଶର କୌଣସି ଜଣେ ବ୍ୟକ୍ତି ଆଇନ ନିଜ ହାତକୁ ନେଇପାରିବେ ନାହିଁ ବୋଲି ସେ ମତପ୍ରକାଶ କରିଥିଲେ ।
