The remarks by Sam Pitroda show the utter arrogance and hatred for the Sikh community that the Congress party and its leaders have in their hearts: PM Modi
When we took over in 2014, India was the 11th largest economy in the world, today is the sixth largest as well as the fastest growing major economy in the world: PM Modi in Haryana
Previous Congress governments in Haryana ruined the state’s economy by selling the local farmers’ lands at throwaway prices for corrupt land deals: Prime Minister Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed a large public meeting in Rohtak, Haryana today. The rally saw PM Modi hit out at the Congress party and its leaders for their arrogant and divisive politics while contrasting the BJP government’s track record in Haryana since 2014.

Launching a scathing attack at the senior Congress leader Sam Pitroda for his recent remarks against about the 1984 anti-Sikh riots in which he said, “Yes, the riots happened in 1984, so what?” , PM Modi said, “These remarks show the utter arrogance and hatred for the Sikh community that the Congress party and its leaders have in their hearts. That such a statement comes from one of the closest friends of the Gandhi family is a matter of even more disgust because until now despite knowing that thousands of Sikhs were brutally killed in many states in 1984, the Congress party never did anything to give justice to the victims, but this time, their leader has tried to justify those gruesome killings. These statements clearly show that Congress party has no value for costly human lives.”

Describing how the BJP government’s steadfast approach on infrastructural development led to the transformation of the country in the last five years, PM Modi said, “When we took over in 2014, India was the 11th largest economy in the world, today is the sixth largest as well as the fastest growing major economy in the world. Today, a record number of infrastructural projects are undergoing across the country in numerous sectors ranging from defence, manufacturing, road construction, space technology and services. These milestones have been made possible by the continuous support this government has received from the people since 2014 which made our resolve to further develop the country even stronger.”

PM Modi later lashed out at the previous Congress governments in Haryana for ruining the state’s economy by selling the local farmers’ lands at throwaway prices for corrupt land deals while also depriving the local youth of unemployment opportunities through widespread fraud in hiring and interviews. He further applauded the incumbent government of CM Khattar for putting people’s interests and state’s economy back in track with a clean track-record.

BJP govt has made efforts for Naxal-free state, says PM Modi in Bokaro

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi addressed two mega political rallies in Barhi and Bokaro, Jharkhand today. Seeing the BJP swept Karnataka’s bypolls, PM Modi thanked the people of Karnataka for reposing faith in the BJP for stability and development. He remarked, “What happened in Karnataka is a win of public opinion, also a victory of democracy.”

Expressing his gratitude towards people of Karnataka, PM Modi said, “What the country thinks about political stability and for political stability how much the country trusts BJP, an example of that is in front of us today. BJP has won on most seats in Karnataka bypolls.”

Addressing the poll meeting, he highlighted, “The truth of the Congress also has to be remembered by the people of Jharkhand. The Congress has never stood the confidence of the coalition. It uses alliances and mandates for its own sake. Then uses its colleagues as puppets for their own benefit.” He asserted those that said the BJP has limited influence in southern part of the country were punished by the people in a democratic way.

Urging people to vote the BJP to power for a second successive term, the prime minister said the double-engine growth of Jharkhand became possible because the party was in power both at the Centre and in the state.

Elaborating on the benefits of double-engine growth, PM Modi said apart of the gas connection given to poor families under the Ujjwala Yojana by the Centre, the BJP government has resolved that every poor's house should made food on the LPG in Jharkhand, and two free cylinders were given to them.

“On one hand, the poorest of the poor families are getting free treatment up to Rs 5 lakh through Ayushman Bharat, on the other hand, the campaign for free immunization of more than 50 crore animals across the country has also started,” the Prime Minister said.

“The BJP government formed the District Mineral Fund for the first time. Today, Jharkhand has got about 5000 crore rupees under it. With this amount, the BJP government is laying water pipelines here, building schools and hospitals and providing other facilities,” PM Modi said.

PM Modi, who was in Bokaro, also said “Jharkhand is like a growing child and Jharkhand is now 19 years old. It will soon stop being a teenager. I want you to stand with me and I promise you that when Jharkhand turns 25 you will witness a great transformation.”

PM Modi said, “The BJP works for the development of everyone and does not differentiate on the basis of caste, religion or community.” He also hailed the BJP government for breaking the backbone of naxalism and cleared the path of development.
