Hon’ble CM spurs people to play a part in Vanche-Gujarat & Khel Mahakumbh

Chief Minister Shri Narendra Modi today called upon people, especially youths, to take part in government's campaigns like 'Vanche Gujarat' and 'Khel Mahakumbh' and set a foundation for even brighter and stronger Gujarat. Shri Modi was talking to sport players and officials of various school, colleges and government bodies, over SATCOM-satellite communication system of BISAG in Gandhinagar.

While spurring people on playing a part in government's farsighted programs like 'Vanche Gujarat', 'Khel Mahkumbh'(sports festival), 'Gujarat Quiz Competition' and '100 hour of time donation' and making them a success, he said that these activities are aimed at creating even more bright and strong Gujarat in next 50 years, in line with the vision of Swami Vevakananda.

Chief Minister exuded faith that 'Khel Mahakumbh', with as many as 12-lakh players participating, will become the largest sporting event in the world.

Principal Secretary for Education Shri Hasmukh Adhiya and Secretary for Youth and Cultural Activities Shri Bhagyesh Zha, Chief Secretary to Chief Minister Shri A.K.Joti along with senior secretaries to government were also present on the occasion.

Prime Minister attends Civil Investiture Ceremony-II at Rashtrapati Bhavan

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi today attended the Civil Investiture Ceremony-II at Rashtrapati Bhavan, where the Padma Awards were presented.

The Prime Minister said that the awards celebrate exceptional service and dedication across diverse fields.
