Chief Minister of Gujarat Shri Vijay Rupani called on Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi at Parliament House this morning, and apprised him of the situation arising out of incessant rain and flood in parts of the State.
PM then decided to undertake an aerial survey of flood affected areas of North Gujarat this afternoon, after the swearing-in ceremony for the new President.
The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, paid tributes to one of India’s greatest spiritual luminaries, Adi Shankaracharya, on his Jayanti today. Shri Modi remarked that his profound teachings, thoughts and philosophy of Advaita Vedanta continue to guide innumerable people globally.
