Prime Minister shares Sanskrit Subhashitam highlighting the qualities of an ideal teacher
June 01, 2026

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, said that some people are highly skilled at performing a task themselves, while others are particularly adept at imparting that knowledge or skill to others. He noted that a person who possesses both these qualities-self-mastery and the ability to teach others-deserves to be regarded among the finest of teachers.

The Prime Minister shared a Sanskrit Subhashitam-

The Subhashitam conveys that while some excel in practice and others in teaching, the one who combines both mastery of a subject and the ability to effectively impart it to others is worthy of being placed in the foremost rank of teachers.

The Prime Minister wrote on X;
