Shri Modi's book 'Aankh Aa Dhanya Che' released in Sanskrit

Shri Narendra Modi's book 'Aankh Aa Dhanya Che' has been translated into Sanskrit by eminent scholar Dr. Rajalakshmi Srinivasan. Shri Modi originally wrote the book in Gujarati.

The book was launched by Union Minister for Human Resource Development, Shri Prakash Javdekar in Banaras Hindu University. Dr. Rajalakshmi Srinivasan and Prof. Girish Chandra Tripathi were present are the book release ceremony. Mr. Javdekar informed the audience that the book contained poems penned by Shri Modi on nature.

The book is already available in English, Hindi and Tamil versions.

Prime Minister Shares Timeless Wisdom from Yoga Shlokas in Sanskrit

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, today shared a Sanskrit shloka highlighting the transformative power of yoga. The verses describe the progressive path of yoga—from physical health to ultimate liberation—through the practices of āsana, prāṇāyāma, pratyāhāra, dhāraṇā, and samādhi.

In a post on X, Shri Modi wrote:

“आसनेन रुजो हन्ति प्राणायामेन पातकम्।
विकारं मानसं योगी प्रत्याहारेण सर्वदा॥

धारणाभिर्मनोधैर्यं याति चैतन्यमद्भुतम्।
समाधौ मोक्षमाप्नोति त्यक्त्त्वा कर्म शुभाशुभम्॥”
