ನೇತಾಜಿ ಬೋಸ್ ಅವರ ಜನ್ಮದಿನವನ್ನು ʻಪರಾಕ್ರಮ್ ದಿವಸ್ʼ ಎಂದು ಘೋಷಿಸಿದ್ದನ್ನು ಮತ್ತು ನೇತಾಜಿ ಭವನಕ್ಕೆ ಭೇಟಿ ನೀಡಿದ್ದನ್ನು ಸ್ಮರಿಸಿದ ಪ್ರಧಾನಮಂತ್ರಿ

ಪ್ರಧಾನಮಂತ್ರಿ ಶ್ರೀ ನರೇಂದ್ರ ಮೋದಿ ಅವರು ನೇತಾಜಿ ಸುಭಾಷ್ ಚಂದ್ರ ಬೋಸ್ ಅವರ ಜನ್ಮದಿನದಂದು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಗೌರವ ನಮನ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದರು. ನೇತಾಜಿ ಅವರ ಅದಮ್ಯ ಧೈರ್ಯ, ಅಚಲ ಸಂಕಲ್ಪ ಮತ್ತು ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಅವರು ನೀಡಿದ ಸಾಟಿಯಿಲ್ಲದ ಕೊಡುಗೆಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರಧಾನಮಂತ್ರಿ ಸ್ಮರಿಸಿದರು. ನೇತಾಜಿ ಅವರ ನಿರ್ಭೀತ ನಾಯಕತ್ವ ಮತ್ತು ಆಳವಾದ ದೇಶಭಕ್ತಿಯು ಬಲಿಷ್ಠ ಭಾರತವನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಲು ಮುಂದಿನ ತಲೆಮಾರುಗಳಿಗೂ ಸ್ಫೂರ್ತಿ ನೀಡುತ್ತಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.

ನೇತಾಜಿ ಸುಭಾಷ್ ಚಂದ್ರ ಬೋಸ್ ಅವರು ಸದಾ ತಮಗೆ ಅಗಾಧ ಪ್ರೇರಣೆ ನೀಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದು ಪ್ರಧಾನಮಂತ್ರಿ ಹೇಳಿದರು. 2009ರ ಜನವರಿ 23ರಂದು ಗುಜರಾತ್‌ನ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರವನ್ನು ಪರಿವರ್ತಿಸುವ ಗುರಿಯನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿರುವ ಕ್ರಾಂತಿಕಾರಿ ಯೋಜನೆಯಾದ ʻಇ-ಗ್ರಾಮ್ ವಿಶ್ವಗ್ರಾಮʼ ಯೋಜನೆಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರಾರಂಭಿಸಿದ್ದನ್ನು ಅವರು ಸ್ಮರಿಸಿದರು. ನೇತಾಜಿ ಬೋಸ್ ಅವರ ಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಶೇಷ ಸ್ಥಾನವನ್ನು ಪಡೆದಿದ್ದ ಹರಿಪುರದಿಂದ ಈ ಯೋಜನೆಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರಾರಂಭಿಸಲಾಯಿತು ಎಂದು ಮೋದಿ ಹೇಳಿದರು. ಹರಿಪುರದ ಜನರು ನೀಡಿದ ಆತ್ಮೀಯ ಸ್ವಾಗತ ಮತ್ತು ಒಮ್ಮೆ ನೇತಾಜಿ ಬೋಸ್ ಅವರು ಪ್ರಯಾಣಿಸಿದ ಅದೇ ರಸ್ತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮೆರವಣಿಗೆಯನ್ನು ಆಯೋಜಿಸಿದ್ದನ್ನು ಪ್ರಧಾನಮಂತ್ರಿ ಸ್ಮರಿಸಿದರು.

2012ರಲ್ಲಿ ಅಹ್ಮದಾಬಾದ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ʻಆಜಾದ್ ಹಿಂದ್ ಫೌಜ್ʼ ದಿನದ ಅಂಗವಾಗಿ ಬೃಹತ್ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಆಯೋಜಿಸಿದ್ದನ್ನು ಪ್ರಧಾನಮಂತ್ರಿ ಸ್ಮರಿಸಿದರು. ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ನೇತಾಜಿ ಬೋಸ್ ಅವರಿಂದ ಪ್ರೇರಿತರಾದ ಲೋಕಸಭಾ ಸ್ಪೀಕರ್ ಶ್ರೀ ಪಿ.ಎ. ಸಂಗ್ಮಾ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಹಲವಾರು ಜನರು ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದ್ದರು ಎಂದು ಅವರು ಉಲ್ಲೇಖಿಸಿದರು.

ಇತಿಹಾಸದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಪ್ರಧಾನಮಂತ್ರಿಯವರು, ದಶಕಗಳ ಕಾಲ ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಆಳಿದ ಹಿಂದಿನ ಸರ್ಕಾರಗಳ ಕಾರ್ಯಸೂಚಿಗೆ ನೇತಾಜಿ ಬೋಸ್ ಅವರ ಅದ್ಭುತ ಕೊಡುಗೆಯನ್ನು ಸ್ಮರಿಸುವುದು ಹೊಂದಿಕೆಯಾಗಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಹಾಗಾಗಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಮರೆಯಲು ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಿಸಲಾಯಿತು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು. ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ನಂಬಿಕೆ ವಿಭಿನ್ನವಾಗಿದೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಿರುವ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದು ಹಂತದಲ್ಲೂ ನೇತಾಜಿ ಬೋಸ್ ಅವರ ಜೀವನ ಮತ್ತು ಆದರ್ಶಗಳನ್ನು ಜನಪ್ರಿಯಗೊಳಿಸಲು ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಅವರು ಒತ್ತಿ ಹೇಳಿದರು. ನೇತಾಜಿ ಸುಭಾಷ್ ಚಂದ್ರ ಬೋಸ್ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದ ಕಡತಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ದಾಖಲೆಗಳ ಬಹಿರಂಗಪಡಿಸುವಿಕೆಯು ಈ ನಿಟ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ಹೆಗ್ಗುರುತಿನ ಹೆಜ್ಜೆಯಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಅವರು ಹೇಳಿದರು.

2018 ಎರಡು ಕಾರಣಗಳಿಗಾಗಿ ಹೆಗ್ಗುರುತಿನ ವರ್ಷವಾಗಿತ್ತು ಎಂದು ಪ್ರಧಾನಮಂತ್ರಿ ಸ್ಮರಿಸಿದರು. ʻಆಜಾದ್ ಹಿಂದ್ ಸರ್ಕಾರʼದ ಸ್ಥಾಪನೆಯ 75ನೇ ವಾರ್ಷಿಕೋತ್ಸವವನ್ನು ಕೆಂಪು ಕೋಟೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು, ಅಲ್ಲಿ ತ್ರಿವರ್ಣ ಧ್ವಜವನ್ನು ಹಾರಿಸುವ ಅವಕಾಶ ತಮಗೆ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿತು ಎಂದು ಅವರು ಹೇಳಿದರು. ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ʻಐಎನ್ಎʼ ಹಿರಿಯ ನಾಯಕ ಲಲ್ತಿ ರಾಮ್ ಜಿ ಅವರೊಂದಿಗಿನ ಸಂವಾದವನ್ನು ಪ್ರಧಾನಮಂತ್ರಿ ನೆನಪಿಸಿಕೊಂಡರು.

ಅಂಡಮಾನ್ ಮತ್ತು ನಿಕೋಬಾರ್ ದ್ವೀಪಗಳ ಶ್ರೀವಿಜಯಪುರಂನಲ್ಲಿ (ಆಗಿನ ಪೋರ್ಟ್ ಬ್ಲೇರ್) ಸುಭಾಷ್ ಚಂದ್ರಬೋಸ್‌ ಅವರಿಂದ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಧ್ವಜಾರೋಹಣದ 75ನೇ ವಾರ್ಷಿಕೋತ್ಸವದ ಅಂಗವಾಗಿ ತಾವು ತ್ರಿವರ್ಣ ಧ್ವಜವನ್ನು ಹಾರಿಸಿದ್ದನ್ನು ಪ್ರಧಾನಮಂತ್ರಿ ಸ್ಮರಿಸಿದರು. ನೇತಾಜಿ ಸುಭಾಷ್ ಚಂದ್ರ ಬೋಸ್ ದ್ವೀಪ ಎಂದು ಮರುನಾಮಕರಣ ಮಾಡಲಾದ ರಾಸ್ ದ್ವೀಪ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಮೂರು ಪ್ರಮುಖ ದ್ವೀಪಗಳ ಮರುನಾಮಕರಣದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಪ್ರಧಾನಮಂತ್ರಿ ಗಮನ ಸೆಳೆದರು.

ಕೆಂಪು ಕೋಟೆಯ ʻಕ್ರಾಂತಿ ಮಂದಿರʼ ವಸ್ತುಸಂಗ್ರಹಾಲಯವು ನೇತಾಜಿ ಅವರು ಧರಿಸಿದ್ದ ಟೋಪಿ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಬೋಸ್ ಮತ್ತು ಭಾರತೀಯ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಸೇನೆಗೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದ ಗಣನೀಯ ಐತಿಹಾಸಿಕ ವಸ್ತುಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಪ್ರಧಾನಮಂತ್ರಿ ಒತ್ತಿ ಹೇಳಿದರು. ಇದು ನೇತಾಜಿ ಬೋಸ್ ಅವರ ಐತಿಹಾಸಿಕ ಕೊಡುಗೆಯ ಜ್ಞಾನವನ್ನು ಸಂರಕ್ಷಿಸುವ ಮತ್ತು ಆಳಗೊಳಿಸುವ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಗಳ ಭಾಗವಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಶ್ರೀ ಮೋದಿ ಹೇಳಿದರು.

ನೇತಾಜಿ ಬೋಸ್ ಅವರ ಗೌರವಾರ್ಥ ಅವರ ಜನ್ಮದಿನವನ್ನು ʻಪರಾಕ್ರಮ್ ದಿವಸ್ʼ ಎಂದು ಘೋಷಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಪ್ರಧಾನಮಂತ್ರಿ ಹೇಳಿದರು.

ವಸಾಹತುಶಾಹಿ ಮನಸ್ಥಿತಿಯನ್ನು ತೊಡೆದುಹಾಕುವ ಸಂಕಲ್ಪ ಮತ್ತು ನೇತಾಜಿ ಸುಭಾಷ್ ಚಂದ್ರ ಬೋಸ್ ಅವರ ಮೇಲಿನ ಗೌರವದ ಉಜ್ವಲ ಉದಾಹರಣೆಯನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿ ತೋರಿದ ಪ್ರಧಾನಮಂತ್ರಿಯವರು, ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರ ರಾಜಧಾನಿಯ ಹೃದಯಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ʻಇಂಡಿಯಾ ಗೇಟ್ʼ ಪಕ್ಕದಲ್ಲಿ ನೇತಾಜಿ ಬೋಸ್ ಅವರ ಭವ್ಯ ಪ್ರತಿಮೆಯನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸುವ ನಿರ್ಧಾರವನ್ನು ಸ್ಮರಿಸಿದರು. ಈ ಪ್ರತಿಮೆ ಮುಂದಿನ ಪೀಳಿಗೆಯ ಜನರಿಗೆ ಸ್ಫೂರ್ತಿ ನೀಡುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂದು ಅವರು ಹೇಳಿದರು.

ಸರಣಿ ʻಎಕ್ಸ್‌ʼ ಪೋಸ್ಟ್‌ಗಳಲ್ಲಿ, ಪ್ರಧಾನಮಂತ್ರಿಯವರು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ:

"ನೇತಾಜಿ ಸುಭಾಷ್ ಚಂದ್ರ ಬೋಸ್ ಅವರ ಜನ್ಮದಿನವನ್ನು ಪರಾಕ್ರಮ್ ದಿವಸ್ ಎಂದು ಸ್ಮರಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಅವರ ಅದಮ್ಯ ಧೈರ್ಯ, ಸಂಕಲ್ಪ ಮತ್ತು ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಸಾಟಿಯಿಲ್ಲದ ಕೊಡುಗೆಯನ್ನು ನಾವು ಸ್ಮರಿಸುತ್ತೇವೆ. ಅವರು ನಿರ್ಭೀತ ನಾಯಕತ್ವ ಮತ್ತು ಅಚಲ ದೇಶಭಕ್ತಿಯ ಮೂರ್ತರೂಪವಾಗಿದ್ದರು. ಅವರ ಆದರ್ಶಗಳು ಬಲಿಷ್ಠ ಭಾರತವನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಲು ತಲೆಮಾರುಗಳಿಗೆ ಸ್ಫೂರ್ತಿ ನೀಡುತ್ತಲೇ ಇರುತ್ತವೆ."

 

“Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose has always inspired me greatly. On 23rd January 2009, the e-Gram Vishwagram Yojana was launched. This was a pioneering scheme aimed at transforming Gujarat’s IT landscape. The scheme was launched from Haripura, which had a special place in Netaji Bose’s life. I will never forget the manner in which the people of Haripura welcomed me and organised a procession on the same road where Netaji Bose had travelled.”

“In 2012, a big programme was organised in Ahmedabad to mark Azad Hind Fauj Day. It was attended by several people inspired by Netaji Bose, including former Lok Sabha Speaker Shri PA Sangma.”

“Recalling the glorious contribution of Netaji Bose did not fit the agenda of those who ruled the nation for decades. Hence, efforts were made to forget him. But our belief is different. At every possible juncture, we have popularised his life and ideals. A landmark step was the declassification of files and documents relating to him.”

“2018 was a landmark year for two reasons:

At the Red Fort, we marked the 75th anniversary of the establishment of the Azad Hind Government. I had the opportunity to hoist the Tricolour too. Equally memorable was my interaction with INA Veteran Lalti Ram Ji.

In Srivijayapuram (then Port Blair) in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, the Tricolour was unfurled to mark the 75th anniversary of Subhas Babu unfurling the Tricolour there. Three prominent islands were also renamed, including Ross Island, which became Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Dweep.”

“At the Red Fort, the Kranti Mandir museum has substantial historical material relating to Netaji Bose and the INA, including the cap worn by Netaji Bose. This was also a part of our efforts to preserve and deepen knowledge of his historical contribution.”

“In honour of Netaji Bose, his birth anniversary has been declared as Parakram Diwas. In 2021, I visited Netaji Bhawan in Kolkata, from where Netaji began his great escape!”

“A shining example of our efforts to shed colonial mindset and our reverence to Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose can be seen in our decision to place his grand statue next to India Gate, in the heart of the national capital! This grand statue will inspire people for generations to come!”

Prime Minister congratulates Rastriya Swatantra Party leaders on electoral success in Nepal

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, had warm telephone conversations with Mr. Rabi Lamichhane, Chairman of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), and Mr. Balendra Shah, Senior Leader of the RSP.

Shri Modi congratulated both leaders on their electoral victories and the RSP’s resounding success in the Nepal elections. He conveyed his best wishes for the forthcoming new Government and reaffirmed India’s commitment to work with them for mutual prosperity, progress and well-being of the people of both countries.

Expressing confidence in the future of India-Nepal relations, the Prime Minister said that with joint endeavours, the partnership between the two nations will scale new heights in the years ahead.

In a X post, the Prime Minister said;
