ಪ್ರಧಾನಮಂತ್ರಿ ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಟ್ವೀಟ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ “ನಾಗಾಲ್ಯಾಂಡ್ ರಾಜ್ಯೋತ್ಸವದ ವಿಶೇಷ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಸುಂದರ ಜನರಿಗೆ ಶುಭಾಶಯಗಳು. ನಾಗಾ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿ ಶೌರ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಮಾನವೀಯ ಮೌಲ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರತಿಬಿಂಬಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ನಾಗಾಲ್ಯಾಂಡ್ ನ ಜನತೆ ಭಾರತದ ಪ್ರಗತಿಗೆ ಶ್ರೀಮಂತ ಕೊಡುಗೆಯನ್ನು ನೀಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಮುಂಬರುವ ವರ್ಷಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಾಗಾಲ್ಯಾಂಡ್ ಪ್ರಗತಿಗಾಗಿ ನಾನು ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ.” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
