ಪ್ರಧಾನಮಂತ್ರಿ ಶ್ರೀ ನರೇಂದ್ರ ಮೋದಿ ಅವರು ಪಂಜಾಬ್ ನ ಲೋಧಿಯಾನದಲ್ಲಿಂದು, ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಎಸ್.ಸಿ./ಎಸ್.ಟಿ ಹಬ್, ಮತ್ತು ಎಂ.ಎಸ್.ಎಂ.ಇ.ಗಳಿಗೆ ಶೂನ್ಯ ದೋಷ, ಶೂನ್ಯ ಪರಿಣಾಮ (ಜಡ್.ಇ.ಡಿ.) ಯೋಜನೆಯನ್ನು ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಿದರು. ಸೂಕ್ಷ್ಮ, ಸಣ್ಣ ಮತ್ತು ಮಧ್ಯಮ ಉದ್ಯಮ (ಎಂ.ಎಸ್.ಎಂ.ಇ.ಗಳು) ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಅವರು ಪ್ರದಾನ ಮಾಡಿದರು. ಅವರು ಸುಮಾರು 500 ಸಾಂಪ್ರದಾಯಿಕ ಮರದ ಚರಕಗಳನ್ನು ಮಹಿಳೆಯರಿಗೆ ವಿತರಿಸಿದರು.
ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಅವರು, ಲೂಧಿಯಾನ ಒಂದು ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಆರ್ಥಿಕ ಕೇಂದ್ರವಾಗಿದೆ ಮತ್ತು ಈ ನಗರದಿಂದ ಎಂ.ಎಸ್.ಎಂ.ಇ. ಸಂಬಂಧಿತ ಯೋಜನೆಯನ್ನು ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸುವುದು ಸ್ವಾಭಾವಿಕವಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದರು. ಎಂ.ಎಸ್.ಎಂ.ಇ. ವಲಯ ಭಾರತದ ಆರ್ಥಿಕ ಪ್ರಗತಿಗೆ ಮಹತ್ವದ ವಲಯವಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಪ್ರಧಾನಿ ಹೇಳಿದರು. ಎಂ.ಎಸ್.ಎಂ.ಇ.ಗಳು ಜಾಗತಿಕ ಗುಣಮಟ್ಟ ನಿಯಂತ್ರಣ ಮಟ್ಟವನ್ನು ಕಾಯ್ದುಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
ಚರಕ ವಿತರಣೆಯ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಪ್ರಧಾನಮಂತ್ರಿಯವರು, ಖಾದಿ ನಮ್ಮ ಆದ್ಯತೆಯಾಗಿದೆ ಮತ್ತು ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ಚರಕ ಇದ್ದರೆ ಅದು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಆದಾಯ ತರುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂದರು. ಈಗ ಖಾದಿಗೆ ಉತ್ತಮ ಮಾರುಕಟ್ಟೆ ಲಭ್ಯವಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದ ಅವರು, ಒಂದು ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ದೇಶಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಖಾದಿ ಎಂಬ ಆಪ್ತ ಘೋಷಣೆ ಇತ್ತು. ಆದರೆ ಇಂದು ಫ್ಯಾಷನ್ ಗಾಗಿಯೂ ಖಾದಿ ಆಗಬೇಕು ಎಂದರು.
ದಲಿತರಲ್ಲಿ ಉದ್ಯಮಶೀಲತೆಯ ಸ್ಫೂರ್ತಿ ತುಂಬುತ್ತಿರುವುದು ನಮಗೆ ಲಾಭ ತರುತ್ತಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಪ್ರಧಾನಿ ಹೇಳಿದರು. ತಮ್ಮದೇ ಉದ್ಯಮ ಮತ್ತು ಉದ್ಯೋಗ ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಸುವ ಕನಸು ಹೊತ್ತ ಕೆಲವು ಯುವಕರು ಇದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದರು.
ಇದಕ್ಕೂ ಮುನ್ನ ಪ್ರಧಾನಮಂತ್ರಿಯವರು ಹಿಮಾಚಲ ಪ್ರದೇಶದ ಮಂಡಿಗೆ ಭೇಟಿ ನೀಡಿದ್ದರು, ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರು ಕೂಲ್ಡಂ, ಪ್ರಬತಿ ಮತ್ತು ರಾಮಪುರ ಎಂಬ ಹೆಸರಿನ ಮೂರು ಜಲ ವಿದ್ಯುತ್ ಯೋಜನೆಗಳನ್ನು ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸಿದರು.
