PM congratulates Lakshya Sen for winning Gold medal in Badminton at CWG 2022

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi has congratulated Lakshya Sen for winning the Gold medal in Badminton at CWG 2022, Birmingham.

In a tweet, the Prime Minister said;

"Elated by the accomplishment of @lakshya_sen. Congratulations on winning the Gold medal in Badminton. He’s played excellently through the CWG and showed outstanding resilience during the Finals. He is India’s pride. Best wishes to him for his future endeavours."

Prime Minister pays tributes to Dharti Aaba Bhagwan Birsa Munda Ji on his martyrdom day

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi today paid tributes to Dharti Aaba Bhagwan Birsa Munda Ji on his martyrdom day. The Prime Minister noted that he fought with indomitable courage against foreign rule for the protection of water, forest, and land.

Shri Modi stated that his entire life was dedicated to protecting the self-respect, culture, and rights of the tribal community. The Prime Minister affirmed that his saga of sacrificing everything for the motherland will continue to infuse patriotism in every generation of the country.

The Prime Minister posted on X:
"धरती आबा भगवान बिरसा मुंडा जी के बलिदान दिवस पर उन्हें कोटि-कोटि नमन। उन्होंने जल, जंगल और जमीन की रक्षा के लिए विदेशी हुकूमत के विरुद्ध अदम्य साहस के साथ संघर्ष किया। उनका पूरा जीवन जनजातीय समाज के स्वाभिमान, संस्कृति और अधिकारों की रक्षा को समर्पित रहा। मातृभूमि के लिए सर्वस्व त्याग करने की उनकी गाथा देश की हर पीढ़ी में राष्ट्रभक्ति का संचार करती रहेगी।"
