PM congratulates all those who have been conferred the National Film Awards

The Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, has congratulated all those who have been conferred the National Film Awards today.

In a reply to a tweet by Union Minister Shri Anurag Singh Thakur, the Prime Minister tweeted:

“Congratulations to all those who have been conferred the National Film Awards. This honour is a fitting recognition of their creativity and contribution to the world of entertainment, art and culture.”

Prime Minister shares Sanskrit Subhashitam highlighting the valour and duty of the Indian Armed Forces

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, said that the courage and valour of the Indian Armed Forces in protecting the honour and dignity of the nation make every citizen proud. He noted that their spirit of sacrificing everything for Mother India is a source of inspiration for all.

The Prime Minister shared a Sanskrit verse-

“स्वधर्ममपि चावेक्ष्य न विकम्पितुमर्हसि |
धर्म्याद्धि युद्धाच्छ्रेयोऽन्यत्क्षत्रियस्य न विद्यते ||”

The verse conveys that When one becomes aware of one’s duty, there should be no hesitation or fear of any kind in the mind, because the struggle undertaken to protect religion and honour on the altar of justice is the most excellent and most glorious path to self-welfare for a warrior.
